RIP Meat Loaf. He would do any thing for love, but he won't do that.... 74 years young.

Indeed. I was a big fan of some of his music "back in the day".

Just received an apology email from Weber Grills. Their recipe of the day today was BBQ meatloaf with subject line "Meatloaf, Your way".
They say they had not heard about his passing at the time of the email, and they offered apologies for the oversight.
Guess I'm a little slow :D I saw both the news of his passing and the email this morning, but never even made the connection.
I'm sure someone will be offended, though. I kind of think Meatloaf the man would have gotten a kick out of the coincidence.

RIP Meatloaf. "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad"

Today it's like if someone can find even the most farfetched chance of getting offended they will be. Most of the things people get offended by Today is ridiculous IMHO.

I too was a fan of Meatloaf. He was very popular here. Especially after the duet with Marion Ravn.

RIP. "It's all coming back to me now."

We saw Meat Loaf in concert once. And I liked him ever since I saw him expose a quack, on a daytime talk show, where he shouted out to the audience (during a physical demonstration of the quack's snake oil on ML), 'Hey! This guy's CHEATING!'

He was also a very good actor. RIP Meat Loaf.

I didn't see that show but I can easily picture his reaction! LOL :laughing7:

And yes, he was a good actor - I had forgotten that.

Meat is no longer “waiting for the end of time”.
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."
