It did turn out pretty good. Last night I cooked up a couple of hamburgers out of a pound of prime ground beef from HEB. This morning my wife comes in from the patio and asked me if I was cooking something this morning. I left the grill on all night. Getting old is still the good news I guess.

Still being above ground every morning at our age is a good thing

Yes sir. And I cleaned out the inside of that grill yesterday, but no sense bothering with the outside of it just yet. Since everything is going to be yellow with pollen for awhile. But I give thanks each day these days.

Brother, not to “ one up ya” but you have no idea of the pine pollen here. Pool, outdoor furniture, and even the house is greenish yellow and it’s going to get worse

Looks tasty.

Great thing about eggs is -outside of rotten- they'll eat almost any way!

You know, I’m not one to let much grass grow under my feet. My best friend in life who has passed away taught me how to bet the horses. I hit race 2 so far, so playing with house money for my entertainment tonight. Just a spectacular night here in Houston.

What a great night. I hit race 2,6,8. For a total of 528.00, I drank and played for free this time. I pushed it all in on the last race and went home even. Well, I say even, maybe with a little buzz.

If there is money in your pockets in the morning it was a good day/night and/or morning, partly on!
