Today is Christmas Tree day. We've waited for snow before we went and cut a tree down. Tradition was set ever since Evan was born to use a Sawzall ( no worries, his hands are nowheres near the blade ). We wanted him to be part of taking down the first tree but at 9 months old he obviously couldn't push/pull any type of tree saw so we went with the 20v Dewalt with him holding the very back of it while I used the trigger. Absolutely no way he could get hurt.
Every year since, he's been enjoying it more and now almost at 7 years old, he can do it ( with supervision ) of course. Teaching them young to respect tools and " other things " is what I believe is key.
Today we will have his horse with us. His 100 lb Lab/Newfoundland puppy.
The dog is an absolute nut out in the snow so this should be a fun time.
Later tonight, it's pictures with Santa at a local Mall and this time they let you bring your dog for the picture.
I can't wait to see how the nut reacts to seing Santa ...
Wish us luck.....

Pocono Pard, I looked up " Making Memories around Christmas Time " on the internet and it told the same story!

Gonna be a little while Rambo.Rambo wrote:Waiting for pictures
Pics were taken on wife's iPhone and once sent to my android they were resized to 640x480. No matter what I do, they will not come thru in good quality so I'll just transfer the original files to my laptop first and then upload.
