North Texas storms
Y’all okay?
PT, I seen damage on the news in your area.
Heavy winds here, my neighbor sees shingles, but I don’t know if they’re mine or not til morning. A quick look with a flashlight looked ok, but who knows.
I hope no one had serious issues.

Sure hope Y'all survived any serious damage.
My Grandaughter is getting married tomorrow and the Wedding is being held outside at the Ranch.
So glad the Storm is headed East now and not South.
Good Luck with "this"

Re: North Texas storms
I have some roof flashing and a loose shingle I’ll need to repair. That’s all I have seen so far.
It blew my blackstone halfway off the patio, pretty strong winds.

Re: North Texas storms
So far it is minor mainly stuff blown over and tree limbs there is some siding/flashing damage but not extensive. I really cannot see the roofing there may be some shingle damage.
All in all less than I expected after experiencing that wind.
Probably did me a favor now I really need to fix some things that I put off.

Re: North Texas storms
All good here in Prosper. Only issue was all my patio furniture gathered together at the edge of the pool.
And one Crepe Mertle in the common area beside me split in half.

bowhunter - not sure which end of VA you live, but I'm on the southeast side just off of Hwy 5 on the VA/Anna border. I clocked 54.8mph in my backyard. Had to fish some furniture out of the pool this morning. Other than that, everything held up pretty well. It got nasty out there.

Oh yeah, minor damage to the roof that I should be able to fix myself but everyone in our neighborhood is good.
Toby, we’re in Steeplechase on the west side.
The winds had to be pretty strong to move a 36” blackstone.
I expected more damage.
Our daughter and SIL live 4 houses up the street and it blew one of their large trees over. Missed the house by a couple feet.

Re: North Texas storms
All good here in the McKinney area, we suffered no damage but are sheltered in a shallow valley up in the hills north. The highs for windspeed were recorded at over 80 mph in some areas just north of us and 76 mph at DFW Airport; a number of snaps power poles and trees snapped in other areas in the metroplex but by and large survived very well.
