Parts, I ran out to Navasota yesterday for one of the grandkids ball game. The Bluebonnets are out and it’s going to be a great season for the wild flowers. We have had plenty of rain.

Re: Springtime
I haven't seen any bluebonnets but I've seen Indian Paint Brushes and ?Lavender? - - the red bud trees are really blooming also.
We used to always take a scenic drive during Blue Bonnet Season up around Brenham, Independence and Washington on the Brazos but haven't in several years - - - Maybe it's time to go again while we still can

Give it another week or 2, then go. Will be a great year for it.

She is cute as a bug in a rug . I went to Home Depot Garden Center this morning and saw many, many, people buying Tomatoes, squash, etc. They will lose it all if they’re putting it in an outside Garden. We will have another freeze or 2 in East Texas before Easter

Re: Springtime
I have my raised boxed built and have 4.5 yards of garden soil to be delivered Tuesday .
Peppers started inside.
Trimmed our nectarine and pear trees. Don’t know why, they birds get them anyway.

Re: Springtime
Redbud bloomed yesterday here in North Texas, and I think we may be done for a freeze as my elm trees are already budded way out.
