I knew that from the get go...
a lot of the counties in Texas are named after several of the fallen from that battle.
1836 is just one my favorite seasonings.

Ever since I was very little and we would be on Vacation and go thru various counties or towns with names like Crockett, Dickinson, Travis or Bowie (4th great Uncle) it would sorta make the trip more exciting thanks to my parents and grandparents :tup: :salut: :cheers: :texas:

Of course my Avatar and Signature have been there since I joined up, so my Love for this State :texas: is no secret ! :salut: :cheers:
