knife sharpenin'

Postby desert rat » Wed Mar 07, 2007 3:18 pm

My old norton multistone is about wore out. what are ya'll using these days of high tech to keep your knives sharp? I have a good steel but need to buy new stones soon. my knives are nothin' fancy, some carbon steel, some bucks and forschners.
thanks

I use the Forschner steel on everything. Seems to work ok. Course I refuse to own any of the high dollar yup kraut knives. You get one of them thangs you need to hire a tinker with a grinding wheel to go with.

A good steel and a good set of stones is the best way to go. IMHO
