My son will be getting paid to hunt & fish

Postby Delaware Smoker » Fri Mar 30, 2007 11:19 am

My son who is 25,will be getting paid to hunt & fish.Billy sent Mossy oak an email about working for them. They have been in contact with each other,& will be sending him a contract.Mossy oak was looking for someone who has not been exposed to big deer. They want him to run their summer camp in Pa.,for kids that have hunted & fished before. After the summer,he picks five kids & they all go to a ranch in texas to hunt big deer.Billy will have his own hunting show on Versus. The kids will also get to fish for big bass in texas. In the off season,he gets to go scouting for deer with mossy oak,& gets paid for this. What a sweet deal.My son, just gave up a contract to play semi pro ball, with a team in Calif. It was hard for him to choose. But we talked,& I believe he made the right choice.I'm real proud of Billy.

That's the key. Getting paid to do something you like. As long as it's legal that is

And the big deer are actually in Colorado, in case you haven't heard

I agree with Dave... What else could someone want? Getting paid to do something that you enjoy! Wish that I could say that!

Tell him good luck and hopefully this will develop into something!

Thanks guys.I think the contract will be for four yrs.at the camp.Could be longer. The TV show is for two yrs. That could be longer, depends how the ratings are.He gets eleven thousand $ per show.At eleven shows per yr.,well you do the math. Another seven thousand $ per month, for running the camp.Plus Mossy oak, will pay for anything he needs. He will have sponsors, who will send him stuff to try. What a dream job.

Delaware big Congrats to you and your son. I know he said he don't need an assistant, but he may change his mind. Did ya remind him who brought him into this world!! Also the kids should have a big time when they come to Texas. We got plenty of Big Deer & Big Bass.
Bob
