I think this one needs to be here, dont'cha see ?
Yesterday afternoon I got cold all of a sudden and I NEVER get cold in the weather we're having in the Lone Star
Well, I started having some Fatigue and decided to take my Temperature. Little did I know that the digital battery in our medical thermometer was "Kaput" so what am I to DOO ??
I grabbed up the Thermapen Meat Thermometer and "VOILA" I got a reading of 101. All the more reason for keeping the probe tip clean and sterilized.
OOPS - - Time for action
I called my Friends down the street to see if they had a Battery that would work.
While I waiting for him to see if they had one, little did I know, he was at the Dollar General down the road and the next thing I knew, he was at the front door handing me a new Thermometer.
We have more or less Adopted Him, His Wife and Daughter so I'll probably return the favor with some Suckle Busters, which he is a great fan and user of.

There’s nothing like good Ol Country Neighbors. At your young age, it’s certainly glad to have them
