Much Needed Reset !

Postby The Pocono Ring Shop » Wed Oct 05, 2022 8:03 pm

Good morning, evening and night everyone, Troy here from the old ( woodenvisions )

It's been a few years since I've been on here, i had to take a hard look at things going on in my life and take a break from just about everything and make some big changes. Hope everyone is well and please know that my decision to step away had nothing personal to do with this forum or anyone on here.
Now, i don't want to go the route of the Dr Phil show so I'll just say that i had to make some changes for the better. All seems to be for the better and now that i have some more time i can hopefully get back to reading and posting on here once again. This forum was one of the places that i could come to and learn from and hopefully share some crazy or out of the norm cooks. I also had some good laughs as well with a few characters on here, i won't name any names EMM :laughing7:

Hope to see you soon,

Take care everyone :salut:

Thanks Emm,

Looking forward to the forum again.
Been a long time since I had a Ripper myself, I'm glad that you still like them.

I learned a lesson on the last one which was "go back to the fat all beef Weenies and stay away from the fancy links and weenies.

Yeah, I'm still partial to Sabretts or Hebrew National for Rippers.
We just got back from Maine and they are known for their bright red dogs called Reds or Red Snappers.
They are pretty good with Spicy Brown mustard and a local relish by the name of Flos. And if you don't use a Split Top frankfurter roll you will get the boot out of the state. Asking for Ketchup on one will get you across the state line as well, but that's the same here in the tri state area.

Here are some links. Pretty good stuff up north.

I haven't ripped those red hots yet but I may order some now.
