Sounds Good BBQ in Port A

Postby Glenn_S » Sat Mar 06, 2021 10:08 pm

Well, there is now a good BBQ joint in Port Aransas! Sounds Good BBQ!

They opened in Sept 2020 and have really impressive Q for such a small place. all outdoor seating and you can see the pits out back. I've had some great talks with Pitmaster Bob and his crew. They always sell out shortly after Noon, sometimes before. Check them out!

PS; try the Rock N' Roll Beans...

One of my favorite spots to visit, hope to try them out the next time I’m in the area. Thanks for the review.
How bout some more beans Mr.Taggert? I'd say you've had enough!

That’s good to hear. That area had been lacking in the bbq department for some time

And they are now a casualty of Covid. Shut down and won't be re-opening. Major bummer... :(
