Pulled pork sauce
I am looking for a good sauce recipe or store bought to put on pulled pork after you have pulled it apart. I've been using Hill country sauce

Re: Pulled pork sauce
If you're up for something not traditional in Texas but VERY good, here's Roxy's Mustard sauce:
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup Yellow mustard
1/4 cup onion finely minced
2 cloves garlic pureed
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
Combine ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
For a smoother sauce, blend on high for a few minutes.

Re: Pulled pork sauce
x2 on Roxy's.
That is my most requested sauce.
I make it by the gallon and it is usually gone within one day.

Roxy's is good stuff! I also make a W.NC pig juice
Blu'S PIg Juice
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
10 tablespoons ketchup
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
1 1/2tsp red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon white sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp salt and black pepper
Directions
In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir together the vinegar, ketchup, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, sugar, and water.
Simmer for 15 minutes, or until all the sugar dissolves. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Remove from heat, and let cool. The longer it sits the better it gits

Re: Pulled pork sauce
To me it's pretty tame just enough to wake the taste buds. You can always adj the amount of cayenne & white pepper to suit ya, I normally quadruple the cayenne for myself, but I snack on Serranos too sooo....
