Sucklebuster’s 407 rub

Postby emradguy » Wed Dec 09, 2020 11:44 pm

Finally got my hands on a jar of this rub and...holy cow, it’s insane! I had made my mom’s famous oven roasted brisket (no,it isn’t bbq), and while, yeah, it came out fantastic, I decided to sprinkle a little 407 on it just for sh!t$ & giggles. I was blown away. I couldn’t stop putting it on there.

Has anyone used this rub to make beef jerky?

Pretty good rub, based on the 407 BBQ joint between Ft.Worth and Denton on FM 407.I also sneak a lil rub on some of the Mrs. Limey cooking from time to time. Have not tried the 407 on jerky but it should work.
How bout some more beans Mr.Taggert? I'd say you've had enough!
