Saturday ribs

Postby TX1911 » Sat May 27, 2023 11:46 am

Keeping it low key and close to home this weekend. Not sure what tomorrow will bring, cooking-wise, but E asked for ribs, so we are doing ribs tonight!

Light trim, and seasoned with Fiesta Fajita, then followed with Hog Waller.

Got them at HEB yesterday. Smithfield. I think they were on sale for $1.74/lb or $1.47. Can't remember which.

I try to get 4lb racks when I buy them. These were all just over 4.

All in, all done! The ribs turned out fantastic. Had some break through, but the done-ness was on point. Wife said they were in the top 2 I've done, so that's good enough for me!

When they came out of the foil, I glazed them with SB Honey Peach glaze.

The Race Crew drum ran perfectly. I love that thing!

Ready to relax now!
