Well this is a real term but...."chateaubriand" chat or briand. Its a whole tenderloin out of a steer that has both the filet or "king of steaks" sections attatched at the ends....

What does this mean?

It means its the whole stinking tenderloin lol.

Forgot to add that I will be cooking one as my family raises registered red angus clean beef. I will post up pictures when it happens. Waiting for family to get together.

Chateaubriand (CHB?) - Spectacular piece of meat, cooked in a spectacular way. I save up the pennies over the year to cook this during the holidays.

This may be more for those of us that have built a cooker, also read the pit build section or both but a part of the lingo one may see from time to time.

I have run across a few mentions of an "ECM". Any ideas on what that acronym might mean?

With ECB being El Cheap Brinkmann, is this another El Cheapo _____?______ ?

Is "closhing"or something a BBQ term? This is how it appeared in an article. "Closhing will help melt all the flavours of your burger together and is easy to do at home on the grill." However, I haven't a clue what the guy means. If you can help me, I'd be much obliged.
