CSR's

Postby Smoking Piney » Fri Aug 28, 2020 11:58 am

I haven't cooked CSRs in quite a while. It was a good day to cook yesterday. :D

Rubbed with SB Hootchie Momma and put on the cooker at 250 for a couple of hours to get some color:

I made a mix of Carolina Gold BBQ sauce and mango juice, added it to the pan, covered tightly, and let them braise for a little over an hour:

Once they finished, they went onto a hot BGE for some sear and glaze:

They turned out nicely. :D

That's my favorite way to cook them  I learned the technique from BBQ Pit Boys Website

Thanks, OUP! :D

I kinda over-glazed them, but they tasted great. :D

Those look great!

CSR's are the cut I typically use when I make Jerk Pork.
