Had a request

Postby TX1911 » Sun Aug 15, 2021 2:54 pm

So the boy asked for bbq for dinner last night. Specifically dino bones. Checked the freezer and I was all out, so we went to his second choice, pulled pork! It's been a while since I did one, and man, was it good getting back in the saddle.

Didn't realize I had this one for that long!

All rubbed with Hog Waller, of course.

About 9 hours on the smoke. Didn't wrap it. Just put a pan on the shelf underneath it to catch the juices for later.

All pulled and ready to eat!

The bone was clean as a whistle.

We just had sandwiches, but I forgot to get a picture. J made a Texas two-step slaw and a dill slaw. Both were outstanding!
