Swine Sunday

Postby tex_toby » Mon Apr 04, 2022 9:45 am

Yesterday was all about the :pig:. I smoked 6 racks of spare ribs and a whole pork belly. All were properly treated with a generous coating of Sucklebusters Hog Waller. For sides, I made a batch of pinto beans in the crockpot in which I added about 1lb of bacon ends and pieces and I also had a previously smoked prime rib bone section in the freezer that went in there. Topped that off with a dash of SB Chipotle Gunpowder to achieve the heat level I prefer. Mrs Tex then sealed the deal with a batch of her famous Mexican Cornbread. :texas: :texas: :texas:
