Wood question

Postby uhmump951 » Mon Jun 06, 2022 7:29 am

This wood fell off the oak tree in the front yard. Any reason I can't use it for cooking. It's a bit mossy but that's it.

Personally I would not cook with it. The reason being it looks to be decayed and would probably put off some pretty stale smoke.

Wood needs to be hard; not balmy
