With a lot of yard work and other things going on I had decided to cook some baby backs on the pellet cooker. This was new to me as I normally do not cook baby backs and when I do they are usually Hot and fast on the grill indirect heat.
Debbie put together a potato salad, deviled eggs and cooked up some Great Northern beans with a pack of Conecuh hickory sausage. The star of the evening was Rambo's family recipe for home made ice cream.
I went back to my Louisiana roots with no foil to finish and Jack Millers BBQ sauce.
The ribs seasoned and getting happy.
On the traeger using competition blend pellets.
Ribs done after a good slather with the Jack Millers.
Next up Debbie and I churned up the ice cream while the ribs rested. We got it finished and put it to rest.

Looks amazing! I had some Conecuh sausage for the first time a month or so ago and it was awesome! Never heard of it before. I think it is a Louisiana thing, but sure is good!

Market Basket and Brookshire Brothers handles it. Like I mentioned they are all pretty good but the hickory is my favorite. I do make my way to Louisiana to stock up on Rabideaux's sausage that is my absolute favorite for gumbo's.
