Labor Day Cooking
Anybody doing anything special? I don’t have anything planned unless I’m asked by family at this late date

Same boat here. Wife grabbed a couple packs of St. Louis so probably throw those on. Just waiting on the U S Nationals and praying the rain holds off in Indy.

Seeing how I had 2 packs figured I’d have a test run.

Hard to find quality info on this cut. I am planning on smoking it for 5 hrs then it is at 250 until due. Salt pepper garlic rosemary thyme paprika and onion powder for the rub.

Are you planning on wrapping or panning at some point. The only info on them I saw was when you originally post about the cut. Chef browned them then braised for several hours.

Re: Labor Day Cooking
Everyone's cooks look great. Nothing here but chicken leg quarters (some form of chicken being our Labor Day tradition).
Moink!
