Thors Hammer

Here you go. It was not how I planned but I did remember why I love lumpcoal and a match. The Traeger took a dump but when I got back it was still a little warm and didn't ruin the meat so I placed it in the oven to finish it.

It's a roast. Impressive but truly is a roast. Good flavor just disappointed that the Traeger went out is all. Here's the pics

It was enjoyed just being harsh on myself. I couldn't smoke this hammer vertically but horizontally due to the height restriction with this size traeger. Full size smoker would do well. I don't mind trying new things and failing due to my own mistakes just hate when it from something else is all.

Impressive is somewhat an under statement. Even with the cooker failure you were able to adapt and overcome.
And who doesn’t like food with a handle?

Now you got me thinking I’ve got to do one. What was the pre-cook weight?

I wish I knew. There was no weight on it. I should have used my scale and for some reason I didn't go out to my truck to weight it. The bone was a good 12-14" and I'd say the weight just guessing would be around 6-7 pounds.
