17° here in Vidor this morning.
Got the two birds seasoned up with some Tony's and on the WSM for a hickory bath.

Thank you everyone. Debbie and I had an unexpected trip to the store for a new microwave. Ours decided to start throwing sparks and flames lol.

Gumbo mission complete! :D
First of two was chicken and sausage.
They all start with a roux!

Today I am cooking a breakfast fatty for brunch/lunch lol.
A six egg omelette with bacon, ham, jalapeno, onion, potato, tomato and cheese. wrapped in 2 lbs. breakfast sausage and wrapped in bacon.
