For those using the beer can chickens, what resulting liquid have you found works the best?

I've always just used 3/4 can of beer with some seasoning added. Taste wise for me is JUST great moisture and flavor.

I'm going to try using a pineapple for the stand and see how it does. My brothers swear by it. As long as it fills the family up and I get some leftovers for the next couple of days I'll be happy. Take the unused pineapple and make a salsa for tacos.

Well I hadn't thought I'd be bbqing with a wind storm of 60+mph but it's not stopping me. We shall see the end verdict is a while. Progress pic. 20 minutes into it.
