Fired up my trailer pit today

Postby tex_toby » Mon Mar 06, 2023 4:34 pm

I fired up my trailer pit today, so that means I had to put enough meat in it to make it worthwhile.

First things first, I was gifted a small, young feral pig by my dad. A friend of his had trapped 7 or 8 of them, so they harvested them and it was delivered to me cleaned and ready to go. I also had a couple of racks of beef ribs in my freezer and then I picked up 4 racks of spares at Sam's yesterday for good measure. I trimmed them up St Louis style and in they went.

Those North Texas guys are on a roll. If Boots ever comes out of hibernation with his camera we will be in trouble. The color on those ribs that bowhntr turned in were spot on.

Every time Tex tone post something I am afraid to open it. Never know how much money it is going to cost me. The grill grates completely changed the way my gas grill cooks.

On a lighter note, I am at the Hooters in Houma. Shelby is working, Shelby has made the National Hooters calendar the last 5 years. I think I sent a signed one to Rambo for the horse barn last year.
