Brisket transformation with a side order of ribs.

Debbie picked out a nice choice brisket at HEB along with a rack of spares. Both were on sale so it was a good time to knock the dust off Little Mama.

Debbie whipped up some deviled eggs and I cooked up some stuffed jalapenos.
I hope everyone had a Safe and Happy Easter.

Thank you all for the kind words.
Yes spacetrucker, she is a keeper. When I was competing I taught Debbie what I was looking for in brisket, ribs and chickens. She shops for all the meat now and it is funny she will tell me about helping men and women choose briskets at HEB. The meat manager will call Debbie and tell her he has prime briskets in come by and choose if we need a comp brisket.

Thats great, I used to have my wife doing the meat shopping, but with us trying to sell house to move post-retirement we have not been cooking much because we get two hours notice prior to some one wanting to come look, so far all lookers and no buyers :(

Kam thanks, we have all but given up, the wife says she feels good about staying put for a while and getting over the frustration of jump every time someone wants to come look...
