I’ve always cooked with wood but must admit as Father Time takes his toll, it’s more of a challenge than it used to be. I’m not sure I will ever make the change but if I did I would certainly consider this Hybrid. They also have videos on YouTube of this product

I intend to, I’m just saying this is a Hybrid
I understand. I still have my offset and other smokers and grills to play with. I would much rather be throwing a pecan split on the offset or pushing around mesquite coals on the Santa Maria but time doesn't allow for much of that these days. At least with this pellet grill I still have a little control over the smoke profile. It's not on the same level of an offset but a better smoke flavor that the typical pellet grill (or at least my old one and the one my brother has)

By the way, I said after trading away my last pellet smoker that I would never buy another one, lol. I guess life pushed me back in that direction and I'm actually happy that it did.

...and I hope I'm not bashing pellet smokers. They have their place and still produce great food, I know people that love theirs, including my wife's sister and BIL that got my old pellet grill. I just prefer a little heavier smoke than the average pellet smoker....and this one delivers.

Looks like you'll be churning out some good grub for a while with the new smoker.
