Bought a New Toy

Postby WBBQ » Sat Apr 15, 2023 8:26 pm

Hey all! It's been a minute. Been through a move to Louisiana and a remodel it's been nuts. Won a bet with my wife and was able to add to my inventory so I bought a pellet grill. I went with the new Woodwind Pro 36 inch. I liked the smoke box feature to.add more smoke. So far I love it.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

We have been in that sell the house and move mode, unsuccessful on the sale of the house. So we are gonna take a break from that for a while and regroup for an attempt at a later date :banghead:

Sorry to hear you're having trouble selling your house. Took us a year. Moving and remodeling has been a nightmare. It's taken several years off my life for sure.

Looks very good! I have never seen a pellet grill like that one. I will have to agree with the moving thing. Moved from San Antonio to Tampa and have been working on my house nonstop. It never ends. I sure do miss TX and all my peeps! Moving to a town where you only know family and trying to start a new career at 53 is crazy. But, we needed to move closer to my Father-in-law that was sick. He is doing much better now. God has a plan, just haven't figured it all out, just yet. Family first!

Thanks and we had a similar reason. Our last property was too much to keep up with and my Wife's parents were needing help. They both have went through multiple surgeries and my Father in law has early dementia. I miss Texas as well but I've bounced back and forth between Texas and Louisiana my whole life so Louisiana feels like home as well and it's where both my and my wife's family are living. We live right in the middle, lol. 20 mins either way.

I just went on the Camp Chef website and watched some videos on this machine, very impressed. I’ve always cooked with wood but must admit as Father Time takes his toll, it’s more of a challenge than it used to be. I’m not sure I will ever make the change but if I did I would certainly consider this Hybrid. They also have videos on YouTube of this product
