As I mentioned earlier Rambo either will work you just have to decide if you want to spend the extra on a square box.
I have owned both and when I can swing it I go square if not pipe is always a viable option. You may ask if you go 1/4" instead of the 3/8" will that bring it down. If you keep the ash cleaned out the 1/4" will last a long time. But again either will work.

The piece he has is 3/8

The Fabricator called me this morning to come look before he called the Sandblasters and I am very happy. They replaced my 20” circumference pipe, 20” long with a 3/8’s inch thick pipe that is 24” circumference by 28” long. All new grates and I can cook Steaks or burgers direct in the firebox too .

They just called Hunter, it’s ready; I’ll take the trailer and pick it up before lunch tomorrow. You have to pick it up with a tractor; once I get it set in place I’ll burn a round of wood in it and get it up to about 500 unless KAM tells me to wait a couple of days. Hopefully can cook this weekend. It will be a learning experience all over again with this bigger box and baffles
