Dino Bone Saturday

Postby TX1911 » Sat Jul 01, 2023 8:49 pm

The oldest is off to camp for a week tomorrow, so I fired up the Race Crew and put some dino bones on while working on the house today. Used worchestershire sauce as my binder and seasoned them liberally with 1836. They were a hit as always, but I have to say, the drum was dialed in today. Took about an hour to get where I wanted the temp and just sat there and held for about 7 hours. Makes it easy!

Also, haven't been around much due to baseball. The boy had a World Series in Destin that lasted a week. That was a lot of baseball! All smiles though!

Thanks y'all!

We did little league for a while but got sick of all of the politics involved. All star teams were made up of coaches kids and board members' kids. Never changed year to year. Got tired of him being crushed and asking what he had to do to make the team, so we started playing select ball. It's been a whole 'nother experience!

Great looking cook. Did some myself yesterday! Really liking the beef ribs lately. Gives you that brisket fix without the time commitment.
