Bachelor Bones

Postby Smoking Piney » Sat Aug 19, 2023 6:37 pm

While the wife is away, I shall cook spicy. :D

A rack and a half rubbed with SB Hog Waller on one, SB Honey BBQ Rub on the other.

Sauced with SB Chipotle BBQ sauce (love the sweet heat kick).

Smoked on the Assassin with pecan chunks.

These are the best bones I've cooked in a long time. First time I tried the Honey BBQ rub and I really like it. :D

My next door neighbor came over to help me devour these bones. :D

late as usual, Those ribs look "licious" :chef:

we recently obtained some honey bbq rub, the wife is a huge fan of it, me it's just ok to me compared to the hog wallerin, I like em both though!!
you have the luck of time away from the wife, to do your cookin and experimenting, my little bride, seems all to happy to be here to eat!! so not much alone time for me, but that's ok cause I would never go to the trouble to cook for myself like I will to cook for someone else.

Thanks, Trucker!

I hear you. I don't like to cook for myself. either. My wife can't handle ANY heat, and it was a perfect opportunity to kick it up a bit with the Chipotle sauce (not really hot at all), with a neighbor that helped me house down these bones. :D
