Lamb Ribs.....

Postby Toet007 » Wed Jul 27, 2016 12:25 pm

I bought 4 pieces of lamb ribs, i couldn't find any low and slow recipe for this, so i read a lot of normal ribs and short ribs recipes and than i make my own with this lamb ribs.

It takes 8 hours of smokin on 110 celcius.
- charcoal brikettes minion method, and oak chunks on top.

- cut the membrane
- and cut the fatcap Zigzag cuts.

- rub
Garlicpowder, paprika powder, onion powder, little bit of cummin powder and chili powder, pepper & salt.

- after the 8 hours..... i put smokin bbq sc on the ribs, and than i put them for 30 minutes in foil, and let them rest.

The taste was unbelievble amazing fingerlicking good.....
Soft and super tender.

( excuse me for.my english.....i am.dutch )

The pictures aren't showing up for me. Odd.. This sounds like it was pretty good though! I love lamb but it is very easy to mess up. I have cooked a few leg roasts in the past but have not done any ribs.

Best lamb ribs I've had we're at hoon hay Thai restaurant not far from me. You can google the menu, but man they melted in ya mouth. I've tried twice to replicate their recipe. Looking at yours I'm gunna try your way. Get back to you,I know you guys aren't big on lamb but we are down here. I asked my granddaughter last week for her birthday what she wanted for birthday tea. Roast leg of lamb and crunchie bar ice cream . My kids n grandys choose for their birthday dinner. Main n dessert.
