Looking forward to more camping trip with my family. I need a new tonneau cover to secure my equipment and pit.

I won some more pork steaks last night, my daughter has asked me to mince her these do she can have dumplings again. I will do this tomorrow for her. Her son just devours them. My son had dumpling night a week ago with his neighbours, he made 200. We love dumplings lol.

Yo, Papa Tom, you got a recipe for Jaegerschnitzel? Had it once, it were good with that Jaeger gravy. They fried it for like an hour as I recall.

No family recipe however my bride who is not of German heritage made it this past week after seeing it on one of the TV cooking shows and it was excellent. I don't know what show she watched but I told her not to lose that recipe.
In the next couple days she is gonna make bierrocks a family favorite. They are also call runzas or krautbuns.

Since I don't own a cell phone it is unlikely that I'll take any pictures however I can post a link (I spent my 37 year career in computer support).

http://www.breadworld.com/recipes/Bierrocks

This recipe is pretty close however like any family recipe there are variations.
1) Add some sauerkraut to the shredded cabbage mixture not a lot like 5:1 cabbage to kraut.
2) The dough should be slightly sweet kind of like the dough for a sweet or cinnamon roll.
3) Options include adding fennel or caraway seed to the filling.
4) Served with mustard preferably the course German stuff.
