My oldest Son brought me some Boudin Links that he got on a recent trip through Louisiana and he said it's the best he's ever eaten so I'll be checking that out real soon. https://www.beststopinscott.com/

Pepper jack boudin balls from Billy's is what you need to try.

If that's the place on the other side of the Frwy, next to the Frwy, then he said he's tried them both and likes Best Stop better. :dont:

These make a really good traveling breakfast:)

I don’t think any of the places in Scott make bad boudin. There’s probably some sort of local law against it :)

Both are excellent. Another stop about a half mile past the roundabout on the left is Nunu’s. Nice meat market. We like picking up their ribeye burgers, chicken burgers, and sausage. Their green sausage and Stein syrup sausage is outstanding. And their are several other sausages to try. Stuffed portobello mushrooms and a bunch of other stuff is good. From their grocery section pick up a couple cans of Sloppy Boudreaux’s :laughing7:.

On the way out pick up some cracklings to munch on while driving and some chicken cracklings - yep, chicken cracklings. But don’t get too much - after a little while they get soft and not near as good when they are crispy.

Thanks, Amigeaux, I'll pass this along to my Son  :salut:

What do you recommend as a side or sides with Boudin Link Sausage :?:

The Best Stop is my go place for boudin and cracklins. We bring home 10 to 20 lbs. of both smoked and fresh frozen to last for a few months.

Been out of touch.

We don’t do sides with boudain. Maybe some crackers.

Remember - everything but the squeal is in boudain so you don’t need sides. :D

Somebody here in the past mentioned doing ABT’s stuffed with Boudin; I’ve got to try it

I even thought about using it for Debbie's Dirty Rice Recipe that you shared but didn't think it fit very well. :dont:
