Pig Parts Tropical Style over Kingsford

Postby OldUsedParts » Wed Jun 07, 2023 7:41 am

Decided to use a jar of Marinade that my D.I.L. gave me last Christmas on some nice Bone-In Poke Chops.
Had them swimmin in the Marinade over night and this morning I put them on a plate for final one hour room temp before Grilling. I'll be dusting them with Suckle Busters Sugar Daddy Seasoning right before starting the Cook. Haven't decided on the Sides yet but mostly likely it will be something like Sweet Corn? Salad? Green Beans? or maybe Brussel Sprouts???

More Later

I sure wish I'd picked up some Sweet Spuds, Sir KAM - - - now I'm gonna miss'em while I'm eating that "Josie Spring Blush Salad" from HEB. Oh Well there's "ALWAYS" a next time  :chef:

Everything is DOWN and DELICIOUS - - I don't normally do Tropical Meats or have a lot of sweetness in the whole plate but this time my Lunch was more like a Desert and I'm getting me some more of that Marinade and maybe the next Grill will be a Surf and Turf. :wav: :salut:  :chef: :texas:

The Pork Chops came out real tender and juicy also.

Interesting! I don’t marinade often, but wouldn’t mind trying that on some shrimp or fish.
