Nice photos and I will try the ham recipe soon. We spent a week just outside Fredericksburg at the end of October. I scored a used barrel from Garrison Brothers while there (I burn the barrel staves in my smoker for extra flavor). Their price for the barrel was good compared to market rate, but later I found out my wife paid $40 for a small bottle of bourbon maple syrup in the gift shop while I loaded my barrel in the truck. That made my barrel feel like less of a bargain...
We also ate lunch outside at Hye Market while there. That was a fun stop and they were running their smoker for that day's lunch special.
