Might have reached my limit on burgers

Postby Copasspupil » Fri May 21, 2021 8:05 am

We went venison burgers last night for the station dinner and well it tasted frickin great. Jalapeños sautéed prior to adding to burger, grilled onion with Johnny’s seasoning, and cheese. The pickling I picked up were called Devils Spit. Spicy slices that they were and some bbq sauce but boy it they come together. Added grilled potaoes, freshly made bean salad and grilled corn.

WOW, "Bambi Burgers" - - - one of my favorites from the past, except for the "innards" on that one. I'm sure it "TOPS" the ABT - - - more like "The Hook N Ladder Burger Stack". Looks great C.P.

Tonight I used the leftover point from the brisket I did last week to make a brisket ragu. The crews including the chief and major ate and no one said a word then it came out. The mayor asked to take the some home and the chef said in a smart a@(&;& way said he’s had better food from me. I can only used beef at the station but this one was excellent.
