Bird on the 'Tower of Orthanc,' but minus wings and legs. There's a reason, and I'm guessing you know. (Gas grill, maybe 350°, about an hour).

It was good, very spicy due to the marinade and rub, but I get tired of wrestling with these Bryson Dechambeau chickens.

It came out very good and was evenly cooked since it was all white meat. It even overcame having to swap gas tanks part way through.

Nice cook. Plate looks great. Cucumber salad is a favorite.

I also love cucumber salad and mashed taters. Nicely done.
I think once you get the hang of spatchcocking a bird you will love the technique.

Tower of Orthanc great looking grub!

Looks very decent, but the skin is slightly burnt. Or this photo does not correctly convey the color of the bird's skin.

There is an old saying "That ain't burnt that's flavor!" I like a good char on chicken.

It was burnt in spots, but still edible.

I just want to find a chicken that's not 6 pounds with an oddly tiny cavity that makes it not fit on the Orthanc without surgery.
