Surf and Turf day
Grilled Shrimp and very tender Ribeyes and Broccoli. This was 3pm. I'm still hurting. SPG only on Steaks. Butter and Old Bay on Shrimp along with melted garlic butter to dip in.

Nice! How’s the little guy doing? Well I hope
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Thanks for asking. He's doing good. Final heart surgery in the repair for HLHS is scheduled for June 7th. I'm scared as I can be.

Re: Surf and Turf day
Best wishes for a successful surgery and speedy recovery for your son.
I had a large Patent Foreman Ovale that went undiagnosed until 2007 and uncorrected until 2008, that only got corrected because I really, really pushed the surgeon and had a great country doctor primary care physician pushing alongside of me. The first thing the surgeon told me after diagnosis was "Well, after your first stroke, if you ask us to close it we usually will. And after your second stroke we'll usually close it withut asking if it hadn't been closed previously." No joke. My scuba air consumption calculations showed me that prior to correction, about one third of my CO2 laden blood had been bypassing my lungs in essentially a spillback short circuit. Then in 2016 I was diagnosed as having the right side of my lung diaphragm paralyzed since birth. I was literally born to be a geek, and I know what it's like to not be able to keep up with a lot of the other kids, then adults, with nobody knowing why, especially me.

Praying for Hudson that all goes well
The steak and shrimp look great. I may have to make a trip to my favorite seafood market today.

What spices, besides garlic, combine the dish? Still, in order to properly combine meat and seafood, it is better to use spices. The photo looks very appetizing.

SPG on the steaks stands for
Salt
Pepper

Old Bay on the shrimp refers to this stuff from McCormick
