My 4th of July cook

Postby strength_and_pow » Tue Jul 06, 2021 6:24 pm

Started off as my friends mom saying, “ I don’t want Scott to have to cook all day” to there is 30+ people coming. So I loaded up the smoker and took a trip.
3 briskets, 1 poke butt, 2 slabs of spareribs, sausage, kielbasa, and 2 pans of smoked queso Mac and Cheese. Plus hot dogs and veggie kabobs on the Weber.
Up at 530am, charcoal lit at 830, meat went on at 10am, started slicing and pulling at 630pm and served at the target time of 7pm. Smoker ran like a champ, guessing I used 10# of charcoal for the entire cook. If anyone left hungry, it wasn’t my fault.

Now those are some ominous words! LOL I can't see your pics, but it sounds like a great feast! It also sounds like a very long day - I bet you went
to bed worn out, but satisfied. :D
