...without the beer can. On gas, yup, edible skin!

Served with cucumber salad and loaded mash. I'm not sure about this method but it tasted fine.

It took about 1-3/4 hours at around 300F. I also got to try out a new wireless thermometer. :D

Sailor that looks good. I have you covered on the beer. We are back home now from our trip. And I had a new grandkid show up while we were gone, so came to visit the new one and we will be having some brats I brought back from Wisconsin. The new grandkid is about the same size as that chicken.

It sure looks good. Haven't heard about the method but if the result is great then it should be OK.

Thanks!

We had read about this so we tried it. Honestly, I think we will use the new rack, but the 'normal' way, right side up.

...that was the SMALLEST chicken we could find, too. What's up with this?

Is that chicken standing on its head??? either way I’d eat it!

Greg - congrats on the grandkid. That’s wonderful news

Looks good and edible skin is always a win!
The salad looks good too - is that a cucumber salad?

It looks good but what difference could it possibly serve?
