Grilled Pork Chops
I was looking forward to trying these American Kurobuta Frenched Pork Chops from Snake River Farms.
They are the 2 on the left in the grill pic (edit- at bottom, I can't rotate the pic) I used only Sucklebusters SPG for the seasoning.
The other 4 chops are from a local store and are for the dogs and to make sure we had leftovers.
(Well – “the” dog, actually. I had to escort my 17.5 year old sweetheart to the Rainbow Bridge a couple weeks before Christmas,
but I still cook as if she were here.)
Anyway, the SRF pork chops were delicious and very tender. I am usually quite happy with local pork purchases, which are much less
expensive, of course, but I would probably buy these again for a special treat.
I served it with Gratin Potatoes with Gruyere and Dijon Mustard, Creamed Spinach, and Blue Cheese Cole Slaw, which also contains grapes.
It all turned out quite tasty!
And despite my fondness for shortcuts, none of these sides came from the freezer. LOL
Recipes available if anyone is interested.

I would be interested in hearing more about that myself. I love blue cheese. Never had it in a cole slaw, but my wife makes a blue cheese potato saldad that is outstanding.

Re: Grilled Pork Chops
Thanks, y'all!
Here is the recipe. It's pretty good. MY favorite is a pineapple slaw, but I make this when Mom is coming over, because she LOVES this one.
BLUE CHEESE COLE SLAW
1 (16oz) package shredded coleslaw mix
2 cups seedless RED grapes, halved
1/2 cup shredded carrot (if not in the coleslaw mix)
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup prepared Dijon-style mustard
1/3 cup crumbled blue cheese
2 TB white sugar
2 TB cider vinegar
In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, mustard, cheese, sugar and vinegar. Add the coleslaw mix, grapes and carrots and stir until evenly coated. Chill until serving.

Well that seems simple enough. I would never be creative enough to mix blue cheese with cole slaw. But I love blue cheese and that sounds good.

Everything on that plate looks tasty. I'll definitely try the blue cheese coleslaw. I'm a big fan of blue cheese.

I hope you all like the slaw. It is very easy and the blue cheese is not overpowering. I thought the grapes were kind of weird, but it works.

I've copied your blue cheese slaw recipe but the one I'm most interested in is your spinach recipe por favor.
TIA

Here you go...
CREAMED SPINACH
2 packages frozen chopped spinach. (About 10 oz each)
Approx half a cup heavy cream
Half of an 8 of package of cream cheese
About a cup of cheap parmesan cheese (the stuff in the green container)
Heat everything through until everything mixes together then simmer until spinach mixture thickens.
This recipe is so easy and I really liked it.
