I've been looking to break out of a rut of the same old cooks and do something completely out of my wheelhouse. This cook will do:
A boneless leg of lamb, cut into strips, marinated in McCormick's Brazilian Steak House marinade to bold it up, cooked on my Weber Roti single side heat with a couple of mesquite chunks to add to the bold.
It's done and resting. The plan is to slice the meat, warm up some naan, and make naan tacos with tzatziki, lettuce and tomatoes. A definite mashup.
Fun day today!
I'll post plated pics.

That looks good. I added some “Lamb Chislic” to my beef order the other day. Just a couple of pounds of it. I am going to try it on soft tacos as well. Street tacos.

I don't cook lamb as a habit. This cook was was to break up some monotony. It worked.
I will keep this rotation now.

Looks good. I ate a lot of lamb when I was working in Australia. Not sure I would want a steady diet of it though.

Re: Out of My Comfort Zone
First of all, I'd eat that. Looks great. I love lamb myself. I fed my family lamb as they thought it was a cow roast until after the meal when I told my daughter w said I refuse to animals she loves. I did it because unless you try it and don't like it then I'm fine with it but at least try it and know for yourself. She didn't speak to me for a few days. I got over it pretty quickly.
