Cookout Night

Postby GRailsback » Tue Jul 26, 2022 8:31 pm

The warden came home with some pork steaks and some sweet corn. So why not.

There is some potatoes and onions seasoned with SPG in that foil

The 5 darker ones on the right are hog Waller honey. The 3 lighter ones on the left are SPG.

It pairs well with a lot of things. It was on the potato's and onions also.

Those are so touchy; 5 minutes too long and they’re dry

True, these were cooked pretty quick, then threw them on some indirect heat for a few minutes at the end. So I kind of short cook the thin stuff and set it off to the side for a few. There is definitely a fine line though.

That is when you drown them in BBQ sauce and hurt yourself eating them. :D
