Smoke therapy time and a gorgeous day here in NJ.
A 4 pound slab of ribeye goodness, slathered with Bear and Burton W Sauce and rubbed with SB SPG. I cooked it two zone on my war horse Weber to 115 IT with a few chunks of mesquite over the coals. I pulled and rested it for 20 minutes.
I had my BGE set hot, dusted some SB Espresso on it and I seared it all around.
A great afternoon in the smoke, and it was delicious!

If I wasn't tending a grill right now, I'd probably be knocking down your door to grab a plate.

Looks great from here, I'd be happy with eating just the caramelized sections, looks like it had lots of flavor!Smoking Piney wrote:Smoke therapy time and a gorgeous day here in NJ.

Thanks, Folks!
I would normally get the initial smoke on the Assassin, but I decided to put my old war horse Weber into action.
This cook worked out nice!
