Single Dad, night 2

Postby TX1911 » Sat Oct 08, 2022 6:16 pm

Unexpected second night solo with the youngest 2. Went pretty lazy after a busy day at the ballpark.

Loaded up the Vision and got rolling.

Marinated a flank steak from Miller's Smokehouse overnight in 1/3c soy sauce, 1/3c honey, 1/4c olive oil, 2TBS red wine vinegar, 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced) and 2TBS black pepper.

Coated with a generous portion of Sucklebusters fajita seasoning.

And on paper. Because I'm tired. And I don't want to wash more dishes.

But I did feel the need for a Buffalo Trace Old fashioned in one of our team glasses. Gotta keep cooking front and center these days or it gets shoved to the back of the closet.

That dinner looks delicious, haven't had a FS in a long long time. GB's look excellent as well and what' a way to wash it down with.
