Stuffed Pork Chops over Charcoal

Postby OldUsedParts » Sat Apr 15, 2023 9:50 am

I saw Paul Prudhomme fix these one time and I was instantly hooked - - although I prefer cooking them over some Briquettes, I've sometimes done them like he did in and on the Stove.

Today they're going over Kingsford - - - the Preparation is the hardest part.
Chopping the "Trinity" and getting it Sauteed plus any other stuffing parts can take some time.
Today I'm adding Apples that are lightly Sauteed with some chopped Jalapeno Bacon and they will join the Trinity inside also.

Suckle Busters Sugar Daddy will be the only Seasoning/Rub used - - this should really help since the Apple that I got wasn't as sweet as I would have like.

Here are the "Prep Pics" - - - more after they're finished and the Sides along with them.

They turned out very good, HOWEVER, next time I'm gonna use Pineapple instead of Apple and get a more Tropical taste.
Took a long time to grill them without under or over cooking them but I got'er done. Got a Summertime Feeling out there today also.

they are my Wife's favorite - - - I've tried to switch her to fresh green beans done in the air fryer with EVOO and SPG and even tho she likes them, she still "requests" the canned ones with bacon and own-yawns added. :chef:

I am just starting to learn to cook veggies on the grill with the yardbird, planning on experimenting with green beans, squish, zucchini, broccoli, and cauliflower with some evoo and spg, that method sure works great with taters :dont:
