Grillin at last!

Postby Sailor Kenshin » Sat Apr 22, 2023 3:31 pm

We have had a weird winter and an even weirder spring so far. But we picked up some cheese and parsley spiral sausage yesterday, put up the BBQ Tent, and it's that time of year again.

Cut up, served on a kaiser roll with kraut and mustard. We're in the game again.

The sausage came out very good on our full-size gas rig. It was cooked mostly indirect, with just a bit of direct grilling at the end, to get it nicely browned.

Kraut and mustard. A food group unto themselves. Sausage is the ultimate “faith” food - we’re never quite sure whats REALLY in it, but nonetheless we just know its going to be good.

Learn something new today. I've never seen a smaller
Rope sausage before and my family would love this size. Looks great on the bun.
