One of my teammates and I took the short trip to Fairchilds, Tx this weekend to compete in the (unaffiliated) Jarrod Wittneben Memorial Scholarship Fund BBQ Cook-Off. The weather scared some folks off, but we stuck it out and had a pretty decent result. I didn't spend a lot of time trying to get great pictures, so my apologies!
First true competition with the new Race Crew Drums
Margarita Turn in - Totally arbitrary. Ours is the front right, winner has the arrow pointing to it. Need to work on this (8/8)
Fajitas - quite honestly some of the best I've had. Good enough for 4th. Presentation needs improvement
Our site from the back. Team next door didn't show up, so we had 80x60, which was nice, even though we didn't use it all.
Beans simmering. Base of the beans was the Sucklebusters Competition Bean kit, dressed with garlic, onion, red bell pepper, jalapeno and ham bouillon. Got 6th, so there's room for improvement.
Chicken turn in. Color got darker than I wanted, but the flavor was on point. Last time I cooked here, it was a 10th place, this time was 7th, so moving up, but still work to do.
Our rib cook, Alan, made what was, by far, the best entry he has done. Good enough for 6th! Presentation was tough. 6 ribs to turn in. Too wide to do one row, but two rows just looks odd.
Best result of the day was brisket. Strangely, this was my backup brisket, and the trim was not as good as my intended turn in, however the flavor greatly surpassed the intended. So we rolled with it. Snagged a 3rd, which made me happy.

OK, don't know why I didn't enlarge the pic first but after enlarging, it's obvious that they aren't - - "DUH"
