Is this cook off a yearly cook off? I have a group of 4H kids over in Orange County that have formed a pit masters group. To late this year but may be something next year we would like to do.

No better way to learn than to just jump in!

I’ve participated in maybe 4 so far, all good learning experiences :) I hope to taste judge soon to get an idea of what else is being turned in. From there it’s just tweaking little things and getting more consistent results.

If you would like me to speak with your group sometime I would be glad to help where I can Hutch. The young cooks are our future in this sport. :D
